    Peeps Easter Basket

Apr 5, 2022 · Modified: Feb 20, 2023 by Emma · This post may contain affiliate links · 2 Comments

Soft marshmallow Peeps are the iconic candies of the Easter holiday and deserve their own Easter basket! There are so many fun flavors of Peeps marshmallows and different ways you can enjoy the classic candy, from classic marshmallow chicks to gummies. They also have all kinds of adorable merchandise including pet toys, a pancake skillet, and so much more. I dive into all of it in this Peeps Easter Basket gift guide!

If you want some Peeps dessert recipes to serve on your Easter holiday check out my Easter Dirt Cake or Easter Dirt Cups - both are topped with Peeps marshmallow bunnies!

    Marshmallow Peeps

The Peeps marshmallows chicks and bunnies are an Easter staple for many of us. They've expanded far beyond the yellow and pastel-colored marshmallows to now offering exciting flavors like hot tamale, cotton candy, fruit punch, and wild berry.

They also offer Peeps Delights, which includes marshmallow chicks flavored with caramel mocha, strawberry dipped in milk chocolate and a classic Peeps marshmallow chick dipped in milk chocolate.

You can get Peeps both in a box or on a stick. The Peeps on a stick are perfect for filling Easter baskets and come in a variety of flavors including Fruit Loop, Rainbow, and Cotton Candy. You can also get a single large white bunny marshmallow decorated with an orange and green carrot.

    Peeps Candies

Peeps aren't just for marshmallows anymore! You can find them as gummies, marshmallow-flavored hard candies, lollipop rings, cotton candy, and jelly beans. They also offer bunny butter cookies decorated to look like the Peeps bunnies.

    Toys & Products

    Plush Toys

You can enjoy Peeps Bunny and Chick plush toys! They come as small, five-inch-sized bunny plush toys or in large, which is 17 inches. The chicks come in five-inches as well and the large for those is nine inches. Both are available in yellow, purple, blue, pink, and tie-dye.

Of course there are toys too for our beloved pets! They make soft toys for your pets to enjoy too, including this yellow bunny!

    Accessories & Apparel

Show your love for Peeps with what you wear! They have a full line of tees, hats, sweatshirts, and even baby onesies.

Other accessories you can gift include headbands, hair clips bags, and backpack clips. They even partnered with Sally Hansen for Peeps colored insta-dri nail polish.

I tried out the nail polish from this collaboration and can attest to its quick drying. The color was vibrant and popped!

    Kitchen

Two of my favorite Peeps products are the bunny-shaped pancake skillet and a mug with marshmallow-flavored cake mix for cake in a mug!

The Peeps bunny skillet makes adorable pancakes that are in the shape of the Peeps bunny- eyes, nose and all! There's a bit of a learning curve to learning how to use the pan and here are my top tips for using it:

    • Spray the pan with non-stick spray in between each pancake. You want to make it as easy as possible for the pancake to pop out.
    • Cook one side of the pancakes inside the bunny pan. Flip it onto a flat griddle to cook the second half. Because the griddle doesn't have a side edge, you can lay the bunny pan flat against it, and gently lift up at a slant, letting the pancake fall slowly onto the griddle. Lift from the pan's handle up, so that the ears are the last part of the pancake to leave the pan.
    • Cook on a low setting. This is on the box instructions for the pan, but it's worth repeating. Cooking on too high a heat will cause the outside of the pancake to burn before the insides have cooked.

This is adorable! I love peeps! I've never seen the cake in a cup that's flavoured like peeps before – is that an American only thing, maybe?

Hmm, it might be! I found it at our local Walmart and wasn't able to find it on the Peeps website. They have so many fun goodies to choose from though!
